Sex Offender feels wrath of tough NYS Internet laws

RodriguesNew York State legislation passed in April of 2008 required all levels of convicted sex offenders to register any and all e-mail names, addresses, or accounts used for internet chats sites, instant messaging, networking or similar communications. Sex offenders must notify the DCJS (Department of Criminal Justice Services) within 10 days of any changes in internet information. In January of this year, the DCJS sent a letter to Chaz L. Rodriguez, age 21, of Newark, that he must comply to all terms of the law. .....
