Shanshan Feng wins 2012 Wegmans LPGA

Shanshan Feng watches as her approach shot hits the green on the 10th hole

22-year-old Shanshan Feng from China captured a two-shot victory at the 2012 Wegmans LPGA Championship. Feng shot a 5-under-par 67, (the lowest round of the week) in the final round of the LPGA’s second major championship to come from three shots back and finish at 6-under-par. Feng bested a number of former major champions, including Stacy Lewis and Suzann Pettersen, for the $375,000 first-place check and the title of the Rolex First-Time Winner.
