Boys Varsity Baseball

Ricardo Mastrodonato slides under the tag of the Midlakes pitcher as Hunter Beck looks on. Wayne won in extra innings 8-7

Wayne 8, Penn Yan 7 (8 innings)
Mike D’Eletto scored off an error with no outs in the bottom of the eighth for Wayne (7-1). D’Elleto led off the inning with a bunt single and moved moved to second on Zach Griffin’s bunt single. Justin Moulds and Rick Mastrodonato each had two hits for the Eagles. Elliott Eckerson hit an two-run double for Penn Yan.

Girls Varsity Softball

Gananda 8, Marion 0
Darci MacFall went 3-for-4 with a two-run triple and Kelly Kier was 2-for-4 with a triple and an RBI for the Blue Panthers (9-1, 9-0). Kier also earned the win with a three-hitter. Sami Bailey tripled for the Black Knights.

Boys Varsity Tennis

Pal-Mac 5, Newark 0
Jordan Pipes defeated Jacmes Jock, 7-6(5) 6-1, at third singles for Pal-Mac (5-2).

Wayne 5, Penn Yan 0
Eric Wilson defeated David Travis 6-1, 6-0 at first singles to remain unbeaten for Wayne (4-2). Penn Yan is 3-3.
