Boys Varsity Basketball

Newark 69, Marcus Whitman 40
David Stone’s 16 pints paced Newark (9-8), which had 12 different players score.

Jefferson 44, Pal-Mac 40
Joe Gray scored a game-high 21 points for the Jaguars (11-7). Coleston Scheik finished with 12 points and 12 rebounds and Derek Wager added 11 points and 12 rebounds for the Red Raiders (10-7).

Wayne 72, Waterloo 38
Benjamin Bobo scored 17 points and senior guard Hunter Beck added 12 points for Wayne (13-4). Brandon Frank had 10 points for Waterloo (4-13).

Girls Varsity Basketball

Lyons 59, Williamson 25
Sophomore Abbie Shields finsihed with 17 points, 11 rebounds and 6 blocks and Brianna Scott added a career-high 11 points and grabbed eight rebounds for Lyons (16-2). Monica Brennan had 13 points for Williamson (5-13).

Clyde Savannah 59, North Rose-Wolcott 31
Kierra Parker scored 10 points and grabbed 15 rebounds Alaina Tripp finished with 18 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for Clyde-Savannah (6-12). Heidi Pool had 11 points for NR-W (5-13).

Gananda 40, Marion 38
Devin Vogt hit a 3-pointer to give Gananda (14-4) a 39-38 lead with just over two minutes to go. Darci MacFall scored a team-high 19 points in the win. McKenzie Beltron finished with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 5 steals for Marion (10-8).

Newark 69, Marcus Whitman 28
Senior Sabrina Macaulay finished with a double-double 23 points and 14 rebounds and and Brynn Lauder added 18 points and five assists for Newark (17-1). Hannah Green had eight points for Marcus Whitman (5-12).

Waterloo 53, Wayne 32
